Parish Update  30.03.20

Dear friends,

I
hope and pray that you are well and know the peace and presence of God our Father.

As I am sure you are all aware of the passing of Sheila Lynch’s husband Gerry this past week, Sheila has been blessed by your support through text messages, and other different ways that you have connected with her in this difficult time. Please continue to prayer for her and the family over the coming days.

I have been so encouraged by the different stories I am hearing as I speak with many of you as to how our community and the communities in which we live have been connecting with people and making sure that all are being looked after. For those of you that have offered help and you have not been called on, don’t fear, it will happen, but as things stand, many needs are being met which is a wonderful testimony to the goodness of people around us.

With the new restricted guidelines that have come from our Government, we have decided to have the church building closed for the time being. This does not mean that we stop being church to one another. Can I continue to encourage you to keep loving, connecting, inspiring and looking after one another well at his time. I had thought it a good idea that if anyone had a story, thought or something else to encourage our community with, please share it. Either email us at office@kotg.ie or rector@kotg.ie

Please continue to link in with our website www.kotg.ie for services of prayer, Holy Communion, thoughts and reflections. I will be posting a daily thought/reflection during this time.

Blessings,
A
